Showcase Comics and Games

Hi Everyone!

I have an Eldar Battlegroup I got in January of 2010, and I'm finally dusting it off to put together.  It's the one with the War Walker.  I'm putting together the Guardian group right now, but there is the weapons platform as well, which uses various weapons.   For a beginning player, what do people think would be a good weapon to start with on the platform, or if there is more than one, what are the pros and cons of each?  I've only played 1 Game of 40k (I used to play a lot of warmachine and a smattering of hordes), and that was more of a demo where I didn't understand a lot of what was going on.  When I said Green player I MEANT green, as this is my first army I'm going to be playing with.  I don't want to seem like a complete moron when I start coming in to play.
